One chilly Sunday morning, a striking dark-skinned young man with a “punk” hairstyle stood two rows ahead during worship. 🙏 Naomi, seated behind, found herself momentarily captivated—who was this unfamiliar face, and why did it matter so much? Then came offering time. Finally, she saw his face clearly—and from that moment, the scales of love never left her eyes. 👀💕 Everything about the situation made the prospect of a relationship seem far-fetched. An 18-year-old about to enter university, and a girl just finishing JHS? Entirely implausible… or so they thought! 😂
2018
The Open Day🏫
Naomi strategically leveraged the friendship between her best friend’s sister and Fred to get noticed. Her early attempts—ignored hellos, unanswered greetings, and silent heart flutters—proved it would take divine intervention for her to be seen. 
During an Open Day at St. Peter’s International School, fate stepped in. Fred met Naomi on the staircase while looking for his younger brother’s classroom. 
At last, he knew her name. That moment sparked a distant yet promising friendship. Though it initially resembled a big brother-little sister dynamic, Fred’s siblings sensed something deeper. 
2019
The Friendship Began🫂
Fast forward to the Assemblies of God Youth Camp at Adisadel College—Naomi’s first camp experience after JHS. There, their friendship began to evolve. Go for church camps! 😂⛺ Late-night chats after prayer sessions, karaoke moments, and shared stories subtly revealed that the innocent crush was maturing into something genuine. 🌙🎤❤️
2020
The Bond Grew Stronger🔗✨
Their bond grew stronger, even if unofficial. Church walks, countless texts and calls—it was evident there was something brewing. ☎️🚶♂️🚶♀️ Fred’s university admission and Naomi’s entry into SHS tested their connection. Still, they held onto the belief that what is meant for you will always find its way. 🌍💌 Even through distance, their conversations deepened. For three years, they navigated academic life with unwavering hope. 📚✨
2021
Love Blossomed🌷💞
After Naomi completed SHS, Fred officially asked her to be his girlfriend—beneath the calming breeze of the African beach. 🌊💍 Love blossomed for four beautiful years across the campuses of KNUST and between the cities of Takoradi and Kumasi, enduring a long-distance relationship that matured them both. 🏫🚆💞
2022-2024
A Promise🥹
When Fred moved to Canada for further studies, their love faced its hardest test. 🍁✈️ But his words—“I’ll come back and marry you”—became a promise Naomi held close. 🤞❤️ In October 2024, he fulfilled that promise and proposed. 💍🌹

Our Forever Begins💍💕
Today, in September 2025, surrounded by the love of family and friends, we celebrate the beginning of forever. 🎉💒👩❤️👨 This is more than a love story—It is the manifestation of God’s perfect timing, and a union built on faith, friendship, and purpose. ✨🙏❤️
